Managing your Incoming Mail and E-mail

Some tips --

  • Set aside a specific time of day to sort your inbox.
  • Throw away junk mail.
  • Forward mail to the appropriate people when necessary.
  • Open and separate the rest of your mail. File it when appropriate.
  • Set periodic times to read and respond to your e-mail.
  • Remember that most of the e-mail you receive every day can wait hours or sometimes days for a response. Stop trying to respond to each e-mail as it arrives.
  • Concentrate your time on running your business and serving customers.
  • Establish a regular routine for these mundane tasks.

This will help make the process a little more efficient and hopefully a little more enjoyable.
